Reason for the freeze of some transactions within the still quite young EOS mainnet is a phishing attack on some accounts. The way to handle the attack finds harsh critique.
So how it is understood – the Government in EOS governanced blockchain is still to be seen as a middle man. Call it neccessary for adoption, call it to care for phishing victims, call it whatever, but that is not a NEW system, nor superior to the old central banking system. It is just replacing middle man. No trust in banks, no trust in code, but trust in whoever developer. Well that is a lot you expect to accept for like $4 Billion. We would not be to optimistic about that. Sounds like the most expensive database in the world.
